The general terms and conditions of the website Alcyone.si are composed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), based on the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS) and international codes for electronic business. The online store specializes in the sale of services related to software and software packages.
The general terms of business cover the operation of the online store, the rights of the user, and the business relationship between the provider and the buyer.

ACCESSIBILITY OF INFORMATION
The provider undertakes to always provide the buyer with the following information:
1. The company's identity (name and registered office, registration number).
2. Contact details enabling fast and efficient communication (email, phone).
3. Essential characteristics of the goods or services (including post-sales services and warranties).
4. Availability of items (each item or service offered on the website should be available within a reasonable period).
5. Terms of delivery of items or execution of the service (method, place, and time of delivery).
6. All prices must be clearly and unambiguously specified, indicating whether they already include taxes and delivery charges.
7. Payment and delivery methods.
8. Timeframe of the offer's validity.
9. Deadline for withdrawal from the contract and conditions for withdrawal; also, information on the cost of returning the item to the buyer, if applicable.
10. Explanation of the complaint procedure, including all details about the contact person or customer service.
When a user selects a product, they add it to the shopping cart. By pressing the "Purchase" button, they submit the order, and an automatic email is sent to them with the order details (products, quantities, prices, user's information, and order identification).
Upon placing the order, it goes through three stages:
1. Order Received - After successfully placing the order, the buyer receives an email notification stating that the order has been received. Detailed information about the status and content of the order is always accessible to the buyer on the provider's website shop.alcyone.si under their profile.
2. Order Confirmed - If the buyer does not cancel the order, it proceeds for further processing. When the provider reviews the order, checks the availability of the ordered items, and either confirms or rejects the order with a reason. The provider may contact the buyer at their contact phone number for data verification or to ensure accurate delivery. Upon order confirmation, the provider informs the buyer via email about the next steps. The contract for the purchase of the ordered items between the buyer and the provider is irrevocably concluded at this stage.
3. Order Completed - Within the agreed-upon timeframe, the provider contacts the buyer via email. In this email, the provider informs the buyer where to turn in case of delay and where to address any complaints.
RIGHT TO WITHDRAW FROM PURCHASE AND RETURN OF GOODS
The consumer has the right to notify the company in writing of their withdrawal from the contract within 8 days, but only if the execution of the contract has not yet begun. The possibility of return does not apply to software (if the consumer has broken the security seal), CDs, and DVDs.
The delivery time is specified for each individual product and is linked to the responsiveness of the buyer.
Payment is made prior to the delivery of the product.
The provider offers the following payment methods:
1. Bank transfer to the account of Alcyone Ltd. based on the offer/proforma invoice (applies to Web price)
2. Using eMoneta
3. Using the PayPal system
4. With a credit card (Visa, Mastercard)

The provider issues an invoice to the buyer in a durable medium, with itemized costs.
Prices are listed both excluding tax (excluding VAT) and including tax (including VAT). The prices are valid at the time of placing the order and do not have a predetermined duration of validity.
The prices apply when using the payment methods mentioned above, under the conditions specified.
The sales contract between the provider and the buyer is concluded at the moment when the provider confirms the order (the buyer receives an electronic status update). From this moment on, all prices and other conditions are fixed and apply to both the provider and the buyer.
Alcyone Ltd. commits to ensuring that the software operates smoothly during the warranty period. In case any issues arise, they will be resolved as soon as possible.
The warranty period for software packages is guaranteed for a duration of 6 months, provided that the software is used according to its intended purpose.
The provider is committed to ensuring the permanent protection of all user's personal data.
The user is also responsible for the protection of their personal data by ensuring the security of their username and password, as well as adequately safeguarding their computer.
After the payment for the product has been made, the provider will get in touch with the buyer through remote communication means.
The provider will inform the user about updates only if the user does not explicitly object.
Promotional emails will contain the following elements:
- They will be clearly and unequivocally marked as promotional messages.
- The sender will be clearly identifiable.
- Various campaigns, promotions, and other marketing techniques will be labeled as such. Likewise, the terms of participation will be clearly defined.
- The user's wish not to receive promotional messages will be explicitly respected by the provider.
The provider reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of business at any time without prior notice.

The provider must confirm receipt of the complaint within five working days, inform the user or buyer of the expected duration of the complaint handling process, and keep them informed of the progress. The provider acknowledges that a key characteristic of consumer disputes, at least as far as judicial resolution is concerned, is their disproportion between the economic value of the claim and the costs incurred in resolving the dispute itself. This is the main obstacle preventing consumers from taking their dispute to court. Therefore, the provider strives to do its utmost to resolve any disputes amicably.
